February 19 – February 23, 2025
Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, Los Angeles
Entrance presents five emerging artists whose works navigate the landscapes between reality and the sublime. Through distinct approaches to figuration and abstraction, these painters explore intimate psychological spaces while questioning our relationship to nature, spirituality, and the self. Their practices, though individual, converge in the ability to transform the mundane into the spiritual, inviting viewers into worlds seemingly comfortable yet esoteric.

Anatole Heger (b. 2003), was born in Belgium, lived and travelled around the world for 8 years going through Africa, Asia and South America. Weathering the ever-changing liminality between self and nature, Anatole Heger draws from his own impulses and experiences. As a poetic painter, Heger lifts the veil of the uncanny through an intimate exchange with his stylized figure and an otherworldly environment. Heger moved to Los Angeles at the end of 2022 from Mallorca, Spain.
Heger had his US solo debut exhibition in the summer of 2023, Anatole’s Diary at New Image Gallery in Los Angeles. He will show with Entrance in NYC in the fall of 2025.
